Japanese Dictionary + App Reviews

IVE BEEN WAITING ON AN APP THAT TEACHES JAPANESE FOR MY SON. THIS IS THEE ONE

Tried to use the scan feature. Turned on the camera and tapped "capture", but nothing happened. Tried multiple times. So I gave up and deleted the app. :(

This new version brings nice improvements! A very good dictionary overall!!

Phrase book -> basic -> Im sorry すみません（誤り） 誤 is a wrong kanji. It should be 謝. すみません（謝り） I think 謝罪 (shazai) is better, instead of 謝り.

I am very disappointed that I purchased the in-app for pronunciation and is not working!

This is a good free app, but it would be a great app if it included pronunciation in Japanese. Romaji or hiragana would be adequate.

Good app, maybe better from JP into EN. Lots of words, 2/3 you will never use. Cant copy text, little to no help pronouncing kanji, search by kana doesnt always work... look up an EN noun and find only the verb... Frustrating, but I willingly paid to upgrade, and it helps me every day.

I really like the word of the day because it was something I tried to do with my Japanese dictionary but kept forgetting to do it in the morning before I left for school or work. I absolutely love this app.

I like being able to search pretty much any word and see it translated to Japanese. It shows multiple ways to spell the word as well as how to pronounce it.

Its a nice app to have and use if you are studying japanese , especially if you need to look up a word or words, it also great that you get a word of the day. Hehe I am glad I have it ( ^ - ^ )

This is a great app, it helps a lot and its free. Its very useful

Unable to put many words into data base. Unable to use flash cards it flashes the card then jumps into settings, etc

Covers a lot of vocabs.

I found the Japanese Dictionary by Google search. It turned out to be a great find! The "Word Of the Day" is great way to expose yourself to new words and increase your Japanese vocabulary with ease. Overall, the dictionary and "Word Of the Day" are a great supplement to the study program that I use.

Doctionary

I wont pay extra to hear a single pronunciation - thats just not OK If the charge is a one-time overall charge, then it would be worth it. But the messages are unclear asking for $1.99 to hear an audio pronunciation... It appears to be a charge for the single word pronunciation. In that case - outrageous! If it is for unlimited audio, then make that very clear and you will sell much more.

Allows me to learn new words everyday and even practice them. This is great!
